Why Does Church of the Apostles Exist? Church of the Apostles is a congregation of the Episcopal Church in Arizona. The purpose of the Church of the Apostles is “to nurture connections with the Divine.” This mission statement came about after many long discussions with the focus being “why does Church of the Apostles exist?” Through the process it was revealed that each person is on his or her own unique journey in a quest for God, the spiritual, the divine. We hope to nurture each person’s walk as s/he comes to join our community. We joyfully want all people to seek the Divine. And we hope our worship and community life will support you in your self-exploration and discovery of your gifts, as well as providing an arena for offering those gifts back to God and to the world. |
